🚀 After spending a year at Enpal as a Learning & Development Manager, I made the decision to depart and explore new opportunities. The past year has been incredibly enriching, providing me with numerous personal and professional insights. However, I've come to realize that it's time for me to venture into the unknown, where I believe I can fully unleash my potential. 💓 ☘ As I embrace the month of May, I've deliberately carved out time for introspection, a moment to realign my personal and professional aspirations. In this period of reflection, I've also committed myself to a meaningful volunteering project—a transformative Happiness Habits workshop developed by Action for Happiness. 🗓 Over the span of six weeks, this series will delve deep into the essence of happiness, offering invaluable insights to enrich our lives. Due to the whirlwind of day-to-day life, it's easy to overlook milestones. Three years ago, my coaching journey began at Maastricht University. Last Friday marked a profound achievement—earning my coaching accreditation from EMCC Global at the Practitioner Level. 🌟 The picture below captures my graduation at the University of East London, completing my Master's in Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology. Fortunately, we talk more and more about mental health & well-being, yet I noticed that often the knowledge is missing about what these terms are defined as from a scientific perspective, what the similarities and differences are, and what these mean for us individually. However, to avoid well-washing and promote our well-being in a sustainable way in the long-term, honest, open, and research-based (psycho-) education is rather necessary ✨********Zum Glück wird immer mehr über mental health & well-being gesprochen, dennoch ist mir aufgefallen, dass oft das Wissen fehlt wie diese wissenschaftlich definiert werden, was die Ähnlichkeiten und Unterschiede sind, und was diese für uns individuell bedeuten. Um langfristig und nachhaltig unser well-being zu fördern und somit well-washing zu vermeiden, ist die offene, ehrliche und wissenschaftliche Aufklärung (psychoedukation) über diese notwending ✨ #mentalhealth #wellbeing #wellwashing #psychoeducation

👩🏻🎓 I'm extremely happy to announce that I recently graduated cum laude from Universiteit Maastricht with a master's degree in Work- and Organizational Psychology. My final research project explored how employees in the service industry manage their emotions and whether these emotional labor strategies influence their level of emotional exhaustion. I'm very grateful for the great and critical support from Merve Alabak during the research process. 💃🏻 Additionally, my next career milestones just started last week at the University of East London as I'm pursuing a second master's program in the field of Applied Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology.
