Rare in SoCal: 1998 Alfa Romeo 156

That looks like a temporary California registration expiring in July in the rear window, and we’d love to know a way to register the car after that. With upgraded wheels these cars look great, and this one would stand out nicely against the expected German and Japanese sedans in SoCal. Find ithere on Craigslist in Thousand Oaks, California for $6500. Special thanks to BaT reader Sean S. for this submission!

Former Exclusive: Enhanced 1958 MGA Roadster

7/3/2011 Update: This MGA is now being offered by a dealer here on eBay in Houston, Texas. Will it ever find a long-term home?

3/11/2011 Update: This car sold at Gooding & Co. for $25k, to which a premium is added.

3/9/2011 Update: Just five months later, this MGA will be rolled across the auction block at Amelia Island this weekend with no reserve. Find it here in the Gooding & Co. catalog. Special thanks to BaT reader Brian B. for this update!

10/26/2010 Update: This MGA sold in less than 24 hours.

From 10/24/2010:

The seller of this RHD 1958 MGA has had it since May of 2009, and in the last year has taken an already nicely restored roadster in a performance minded direction with period-correct performance parts. He wanted to convert it to a street version of what some of the Sebring MGAs looked like in the late 50’s early 60’s, so he added our favorite trimmed plexiglas windscreen, deleted the bumpers, and ditched the luggage rack. The result is a very smooth looking MGA in a great color combo. This is what we dream of doing to every MGA roadster we see, and all the stock parts are included and no cutting was done so the original look could be returned in a weekend. The car is now available in Kokomo, Indiana for $18k.

Sharp and Dark: 1986 Alfa GTV6

This 1986 Alfa Romeo GTV6 is said to be a rust free, un-restored, one owner survivor with just over 81k miles. It appears to have been in storage for the past 16 years, and has just received some work to bring it back to life. We like these cars in almost all the factory colors, but black is cool because it hides the extensive black trim and bumpers for a more monochromatic look. Find it here on eBay in Gulf Shores, Alabama with no reserve.

Needs Finishing: 1969 Ducati 450 Scrambler

From the looks of the detailed photos and description in the listing, it’s a long way toward being finished, with most of the difficult, expensive work out of the way.
